Big Green Head is the fun face of green!  This silly, down-to-earth, eco-friendly monster doesn’t want anyone to feel guilty about green--rather to strive to do a little better every day! He engages people through information, education, and offering opportunities to be green.

ABOUT THE FOUNDERS

Kate Midnight and Karen Ferris are both stay-at-home moms who have spent the last 10-15 years, respectively, raising children and volunteering in their schools, scouts and community.  Like most busy parents, convenience is essential, but Kate and Karen started to wonder ‘at what cost to the environment?’ In their quest for answers and a directive for where and how to start, they struggled to find what they were looking for... so they created it themselves.  And so was born Big Green Head.

As self proclaimed "goofballs", Kate and Karen strive to create a fun, creative site that easily builds green into anyone’s daily routine. You can also find them gathering communities together for the greener good.  They are proud hosts of the first ever, Green on the Green, held in their hometown of Worthington Ohio, last spring.

You can expect more great things from these ladies and Big Green Head as their enthusiasm and vision grows!
