do green | feel good

We Are Big Green Head!

This monster is on a mission to change your perception about going green. It’s not difficult, nor is it costly... in fact we think it's pretty cool. Start doing green and feeling good. Have you got something better to do?

Green Dogs

A few days ago I unexpectedly became a dog owner. Since this was an unplanned acquirement, we had to make a quick trip to the pet store for a few supplies. Having not been to a pet store in several years I was overwhelmed!

There were aisles and aisles of things I didn't know I needed: everything from toys to automatic feeding dispensers (really?). I've had dogs before and been in pet stores but don't remember seeing so much junk.

What I did find enlightening was that there were lots of natural options for my dog! They had toys that were made from natural materials, meat-free food, and organic treats. So now my new puppy Phoebe can go green with us as well!

Karen, I think the old shovel it up method (with shovel we already own) is as green as we are going to get with waste removal. LOL

For green waste removal, I suggest the plastic-free method of using your bare hand. Just don't forget to wash with warm soapy water when your done.
