Car Emissions

Did You know?

  • Even when your car's not running, it's still emitting harmful gases into the environment. When you've turned the car off after driving, your hot engine will continue to emit gas vapors as it cools down.
  • VOCs (volatile organic compounds), also known as hydrocarbons, cause an ozone layer to form on the ground. This can cause eye and breathing problems in humans and is also thought to be carcinogenic, according to Environmental Protection Agency research.
  • Carbon monoxide (CO) is another serious byproduct of modern combustion engine exhaust. The EPA advises that heart disease sufferers should be particularly wary of this gas, as it interferes with proper levels of oxygen flowing through your bloodstream.
  • If your car is a 1996 model or newer, the 1990 Clean Air Act mandates that all auto manufacturers have an on-board diagnostics computer (OBD) installed in every new car sold. If your state has mandatory EPA emissions testing, both your OBD readings and your tailpipe emissions may be evaluated.
  • According to the Environmental Defense Fund, average households with two sedans will emit over 20,000 pounds of carbon dioxide into our air every year. Sport utility vehicles emit as much as 40 percent more than medium-sized cars.
  • Car exhaust emits many types of pollutants including hydrogen, nitrogen, sulfur, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.

How about this, it sure was an eye opener to me:

  1. Gasoline mowers represent 5% of the nations air pollution
  2. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), a traditional gas powered lawn mower produces as much air pollution as 43 new cars each being driven 12,000 miles.lawn mower
  3. One hour of mowing is the equivalent of driving 350 miles in terms of volatile organic compounds.
  4. One gas mower spews 87 lbs. of the greenhouse gas CO2, and 54 lbs. of other pollutants into the air every year.
  5. One gas mower running for an hour emits the same amount of pollutants as eight new cars driving 55 mph for the same amount of time, according to the Union of Concerned Scientists
  6. According to the California Air Resources Board (CARB), an hour of weed whacking is the emissions equivalent of driving 834 miles in a modern automobile!
  7. The EPA states that 17 million gallons of fuel, mostly gasoline, are spilled each year while refueling lawn equipment. That's more than all the oil spilled by the Exxon Valdez, in the Gulf of Alaska.
  8. Vehicle emissions are responsible for the distribution of harmful gases, which include carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, and nitrogen oxides. Together, these gases cause ground level smog that aggravates breathing difficulties.

So how do we REDUCE these HARMFUL emissions?

Well you could ride a bike to work! This may be a great alternative for those who live in a city, but what about those of us that travel, or live in a very mountainous are? Sure you will be in great shape but is realistic and what about winter?

You could turn off your engine when sitting at a train crossing, drive through, traffic congestion. While these may help some, but is it realistic that people will actually do this? I know if I am sitting in congested traffic on humid 95 degree temp with kids in the car I am leaving the air on.
Another option is to buy a more environmentally friendly vehicle. A great option, if you can afford it. But with the economy the way it is these days it is not a viable option for many people.

So what can we do that is REALISTIC for EVERYONE?

Well there is an answer!!

There IS a way that you can REDUCE EMISSIONS in ANY combustible engine up to 75% (much more in most cases) , whether it be gas, diesel, or E85. But wait, what about those who don't care about emission reduction? The GREEN movement is making GREAT STRIDES and turning people like my self to be more conscience about our environment for future generations. But lets face it, there are A LOT of people that just don't care or believe it to be a problem. How do we change them? What motivation do have have to use an option that will GUARANTEE 100% that their emissions can be reduced?

The ANSWER?

ENVIROTABS!! Yes, this one simple technology that has been around for 41 years, and used by the US Military for 40 yrs and won a NOBEL PRIZE for chemistry in 1973, has 8 other money saving benefits. This technology will not ONLY reduce emissions, it will ALSO put money back in your pocket, GUARANTEE!!  Yes it is a BOLD claim, but it is a claim we stand behind 100%. WHY? BECAUSE IT WORKS EVERY TIME , ALL THE TIME !!

So what are the other 8 Benefits?

Well I will give you two more NOW and more on my next blog. But for those who do not care about harmful emissions, these people love our product also because it is INCREASING the length of their oil. May not sound important to some, but you take the average trucker who spends several hundred dollars on an oil change every 10,000 miles. Now, like my friend Beau ( long time OTR trucker ) he has not changed his oil for the past 40,000 miles, and it is as silky as the day he put it in. Beau just saved an additional $800.00 or more over the past several months making ENVIROTABS FREE.
Another benefit is the INCREASE life of your engine. Beau now knows that his engine is going to last a lot longer now, It will be running a lot cooler as well. OOPS, I just gave another benefit away, well more on that later.

So till next time, please feel free to leave your comments. I would love to hear your thoughts. And those that are interested in taking the ENVIROTAB CHALLENGE let me know, I will tell you how to get it.
