Big Green Head is proud to bring Central Ohioans the opportunity “Unearth Your Green Side” at the 3rd Annual Green on the Green, May 19th, 2012.

E-Waste Drop-Off Program
Big Green Head has teamed up with Accurate IT, a super-responsible, local, electronics recycler.  We’ve launched an E-waste Drop-off Program, a one-day electronic recycling event hosted at various locations around Central Ohio.  Each event allows residents the opportunity to conveniently and responsibly dispose of obsolete, unwanted and broken electronics, with a portion of the proceeds being donated back to the community. We created this new program to accomplish the following:
  1.  Educate people on the growing problem of e-waste (the fastest growing segment of our nation’s trash).
  2. Provide them with a convenient method to responsibly dispose of e-waste.
  3. Ensure that collected items are handled in an environmentally-responsible manner.
  4. Provide volunteer opportunities/community service hours (mainly high school age kids)
  5. Donate back to the community (typically high school programs as they are generally the hosts of such events)
